Persuasion

My mother [Tom] finds Persuasion a good film to regular fall asleep to, what are your thoughts on it after watching it this eveing Theresa?

It's ok. I'd watch it again once I forget what happens, that takes about 3 weeks :-) Well I must go to bed darling.

From Tom: Maybe we'll get more tomorrow, even some on Horatio Hornblower as Mr. Eliot was played by the same actor as . . .

Major Edrington, from Hornblower: The Frogs and the Lobsters. Samuel West has played a number of interesting roles including Prince Caspian, that was 17 years ago! But we expended quite a lot of energy w/the kids today. Even w/my brief nap, I must retire after I share that one of the greatest moments of the day: Eden's extraordinary reach from her high chair, pulling the table cloth while we were clearing the table causing Theresa's nearly full cup of coffee to fall onto the floor. Thankfully no-one was injured and no glass was broke (unlike the 2 lamps I broke over the past several days -- the one just being the loss of a light bulb and the other the hurricane lamp part but not the light bulb) and I was able to entertain Eden in the living room. But she was only slightly more contented than when I was trying to watch the end of Agassi's career.

Where sky and water meet,

Where the waves grow sweet

Doubt not, Reepicheep,

To find all you seek

There is the utter East.

[Reepicheep quoting a rhyme a dryad used to sing over his cradle]
