Apparently, Andrew Lloyd Webber has been orchestrating a live T.V. talent competition to provide BBC viewers the opportunity to influence the next Maria for the November opening in London.
“Maria” has been drawing some six million viewers per installment, even challenging “The X Factor,” a more lowbrow talent show on the main competing channel.
