Like every proud Mama, I like to share stories of my adorable kid. She's much more adorable now that she's finally getting over 2 weeks of illness. She was so chatty and happy today--a real joy to be around . . .

Eden loves the vacuum cleaner. She used to be scared of it which made it difficult for me to vacuum the upstairs of our house in Pgh. The downstairs I could do while she napped, but she needed to be awake and with me when I vacuumed upstairs. It made for a convenient excuse as to why the upstairs remained so dirty. And everyone knows that the only time rooms get picked up is before you vacuum their floors. Ergo, the clutter remained on the floors. But I digress...

Eden loves the vacuum cleaner so much that she hugged it today. She really did. She sat beside it, leaned her head down on it, said aahhh and patted it. She did the same thing to my dad when he came home from work today, so I told him not to think too highly of himself.

The other cute thing she did today was when she was sitting in her Cozy Coupe while I was hanging laundry on the line. She reached for her right hand with her left hand (chatting to herself as she did this), and guided her right hand onto the steering wheel of the Cozy Coupe. This was significant to me because we are often encouraging Eden to use Righty by placing or holding her right hand on the toy that she's playing with. This time she did it herself in her own cute little toddler way.

She's also learning to kiss. She started with kisses for Mama by smacking her lips repeatedly. This morning I was touching her stuffed giraffe to her lips and making a kissing sound. A few minutes later she did it by herself. Very cute. She's also learning to blow kisses. For lack of a better word--very cute!
