Science and Faith Articles

In a recent on-line conversation regarding the relationship of science and faith, several articles were brought to my attention and I commend them to my CMU friends (and to whomever else has interest in such questions):

The Similarity of Theory Testing in the Historical and “Hard” Sciences by Keith Miller, a research assistant professor in geology at Kansas State University. He obtained a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College, an M.A. from SUNY at Binghamton, and a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester, all in geology. His research interests are in paleoecology and the history of global climate change.

Does Evolution have any Religious Significance? by Denis R. Alexander, Head of the T Cell Laboratory at The Babraham Institute, Cambridge, and also Editor of the journal Science & Christian Belief. As many of you already know, related articles can be found at American Scientific Affiliation and Christians In Science.  Note:  Isn't science more rational than faith? by Alister McGrath, co-author of The Dawkins Delusion? (2007) and Dawkins' God (Blackwell, 2004) caught to my attention as soon as I opened the Christians In Science link.

And coming from another perspective:  Naturalism is an Essential Part of Science and Critical Inquiry (Steven Schafersman) and The Cons of Creationism (NY Times Editorial, 6/7/2008). ...
