That Lily Joy is living up to her name.  She is so smiley and good natured!  What a good baby!  She really likes to look at our faces and smiles easily.  She remains fairly predictable and easily soothed.  The past few nights I was able to lay her down in her crib awake (an hour after feeding her) and she drifted off to sleep with nary a peep.  Wow!  She'll typically sleep for about 5 hours, eat, and then sleep for another 3-4 hours.  She's usually pretty sleepy throughout the morning and is awake the most in the evenings.

We spent the past weekend at our family's cabin, Bobwhite.  Lily slept pretty well there too.  Eden was challenging, particularly the first night there.  Our family of 6 shared one bedroom and when Lily awoke around midnight Eden woke up and would not go back to sleep.  Tom laid down in her bed with her, but it was close to 4am when she finally drifted off.  I remained awake throughout the ordeal too, and then Lily awoke again at 5am.  So not much sleep happened that night.  Thankfully the other two nights were better and Eden slept all night long.

Lily's cousins enjoyed holding her and generally being near her.  10 yr. old Firas was particularly enamored with her and enjoyed holding Lily while she slept in her favorite spot -- on his chest.
